The Glam Splendour Shoot

April 8, 2018

Model: Bren Mupa

After tempering with the idea of getting women together to create something that will not only help grow their brands but also create a network of successful black entrepreneurs who’s aim is to support one another, bespoke petals and events owner Jules Jonathan decided to reach out to these 8 ladies so they can all create the future of creative black sisters.

Model Tammy Ausden

Their main Objective was to showcase and advertise the work that this group of entrepreneurs is doing. This all came together after Yvonne Yvette Designs. agreed to design two show-stopping dresses which Bren Mupa and Tammy Ausden (of tammyswardrobe) wore for the shoot. Sweet n Seasoned also stood to the occasion with the mouth-watering meal they prepared (they served canapes, freshly baked bread and a 3-course meal). Bespoke Petals and Events provided the luxurious, lines, plate, candle holders and personalised menus for the day. Pure Lush Events provided the fresh red roses and fresh hydrangeas as well as centrepieces. This was all captured by professional photographer Tich of Tich Pfups Photography.

“There is power in collaborating, as a fashion journalist I have realised that gone are the days were people thought that if they collaborate this could dilute their brands. I have come to realise that there is no brand which can sustain itself without the help of other small or big brands. Collaborating with other brands or people is beneficial to both parties and it opens up new selling opportunities and attracts a new demographic. Even big brands collaborate e.g H&M collaborated with the most famous fashion houses like Balmain and Stella McCartney.” Said Bren Mupa.
